This listing is for the 9" Cissette DEGAS REHEARSAL DOLL with SHADOW BOX from Madame Alexander.
This is for the doll, doll stand and the outfit she has on as well as the shadow box, nothing else will be coming with this listing. She does have her doll box but it does show some signs of shelf-ware due to the age and being stored away.
Overall the doll appears to be in fair condition. Upon inspecting, I do notice that her head can easily tip to either side. If careful, one can position the head and it will stay put but most likely it will need to be re-strung in time.
As to her shadow box, it is in fairly good shape box wise. The gold frame portion looks very good. The main issue I see is the felt. There are no rips but It does show quite a bit of scrapes & scuffs due to it age. From a distance it looks fine but when you get closer you do see some issues. Mostly what you see is tiny dust particles imbedded into the felt. I tried to dust it off or use canned air but to no avail. It really is hard to describe but I don't want to mislead you into thinking it is near perfect. It is impossible to photograph since it registers as black. If you feel that you need a near perfect box then please pass on this item, you most likely would be disappointed.
This comes from a private home doll collection (pet and smoke free). It has been recently removed from storage to be sold.
