ABOUT THE ITEM:
This auction is for the 1975 version of Muffin, a soft, cloth 12" doll by Madame Alexander. If you are a Madame Alexander collector that owns the book, Madame Alexander Collector's Dolls by Patricia Smith, you can find the 1972 version of Muffin on page 17.
Muffin has never been removed from her box, except for photos. She is still wearing her original wrist tags on her left wrist. She belonged to my Mom and has been stored all these years in a cool, dry environment.
She is wearing a white dress with a pink rosebud pattern, trimmed with lace at the neck and sleeves. Her underclothing, including an attached slip and panties, is also white. Her dress is tagged with a Madame Alexander label. She has blonde yarn-like hair with an attached pink bow and blue eyes. Her eyes, nose, and mouth are made with felt. Her feet have pink bows attached. She is intended for children ages 3 years and up.
Her original box is included. It is in fair to poor condition with quite a bit of creasing and wear on the edges. There are few pieces of tape on it as well. Muffin has been stored in a cool, dry environment all these years. She also comes from a smoke-free, pet-free, and healthy home.
